Still Waiting

Yesterday, I had to go to many places, to collect hong bao as it was chinese new year. I counted the money in the hong bao and found out that i collected..... (not to tell coz its a secret). Anyway, I went to my gong gong's house on my mother's side 1st. The house was very small so everybody had to queeze in the house. We were surposed to take pictures but because it was so noisy the we couldn't take any! I was in-charge of the camera so i was jobless.

Next, was my gong gong's brother's house. It was very big and had a big pond at the outside, a tank inside and a big rectangular fish tank outside. I learnt that it was because he loved fishes and that is why he kept a lot of them in the house. We had a number of goodies and some of the men had men's talk while some of the women had women's talk. My sister and I did not have anything to do so we watched tv. It was about the countdown that night but i watched it till midnight or so then i did watch anymore. After that, we all went to my house. I was the first to reach there and so was one of my cousins because he had to drive us there. We were comfortably seated on our new sofa when my relatives came into the house and greeted us again.

The house was very noisy and they all talked about things I don't really understand but who cared! I played the new chinese new year VCD which is the one taken with the mediacorp artises. It was shown on tv for advertisment. My family did not buy it because we got it for free. Everybody in my house started eating the goodies as if they did not eat for a few days! But the goodies weren't finished. They had lunch at my house and they ate and ate and ate. The food was almost gone!!! They watched some more tv after their lunch. Then, three older girls stayed in my house with my father, my sister and I, because we did not want to go to the temple. My mother said that she wanted to go to the temple so she went with the others.

At night, we went to my mother's older sister's house for dinner. We ate and ate and played with the baby of my cousin's. He was really heavy! (My father said so)! We stayed there until 9.15pm then we took my cousin's sport's car home. I had a wonderful time yesterday that I slept until 9.15am today!
